He started teaching graphic design at the Faculty of Journalism in 1997. His freelance work in the industry includes: working with the State Hermitage museum; graphic design for publishing houses in St Petersburg; and other design projects. He has Russian state honorary status, and international industrial awards in recognition of his teaching method and professional achievements.
