Department of TV and Radio Journalism
The Department of TV and Radio Journalism was founded in 1969. Its principal directions of professional training are: bachelors in radio and TV journalism; and masters in sports journalism, social journalism, and in documentaries. The main studying platform is the TV and Radio Training Studio. This is where the careers of many popular journalists, reporters, editors, commentators, and script writers started. Now the famous graduates often come to teach students, act as diploma advisers, and guide the professional practice of the future journalists. The Department has rich traditions in media research about the history of TV and radio, audio/video expressiveness, and modern trends in radio and TV journalism.
