Department of Public Relations in Politics and Public Administration was founded in 2012 and is the youngest in Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communications of St. Petersburg State University. Moreover this department is the only one of its kind in Russia. Deputy Head of department is Igor E. Mintusov, member of Director’s Board of European Association of Political Consultants and member of Director’s Board of International Association of Political Consultants, founder of the first PR-agency in Russia (1989). Research area of department includes: Political management, Political marketing, Political consulting, Public Affairs technologies, Political communication in Internet, Governmental Public relation. Department collaborates with the leading Universities of Russia and foreign countries, major agencies of political consulting, representatives of federal and municipal authorities.
